WHO IS BABAJI?
My spiritual journey was to find God and God consciousness. To find this I would need to find a teacher. Reading Autobiography of a Yogi by Parahamansa Yogananda and his amazing search for his Master, led me to the same idea. When my eyes fell upon the picture of Babaji, the Maha Avatar, the Yogi Christ, I felt a great calling from him. Kriya Yoga which is his teaching and technique which is a profound way of moving and receiving and being in God consciousness, inspired me to make a long journey to find him. It was like an impelling yearning. It was like a thirst that could not be quenched. It is the pilgrimage and the journey that takes you within to find the being that is without.

Babaji was the reflection for me of God in form. This great Maha Avatar who has lived on the planet for thousands of years, was calling me. I made a twelve year journey to find him, making many trips to India and many journeys within. I had wonderful meditations and links with him.

On September 29th 1997 my wish was fulfilled and I came face to face with Babaji, my Master. His first words were, "You have been looking for me for twelve years and now I have called you." I went for two weeks and stayed for five. During that time I was taught the kriya yoga and went on a pilgrimage to Badrinath with Babaji and a band of disciples, where we visited his cave which can be read about in "Autobiography of a Yogi".

There are many Avatars and wonderful teachers and Masters. The ancients and Masters of the rays live in the Himalayas and some of them throughout the world. We are all drawn to different vibrations and Masters, but I was lucky to find the one that I resonated with, my Master, Babaji. I say I was lucky to find him, but actually when the disciple is ready, the Master appears. This is because it is the Master's will and because he is so in tune with the will of God, it is God's will that the Master will call you.

This consciousness that we live in is like a great ocean of light. As me move and breathe and have our being in this, so we can attract and call anything that we wish to create or attract, whether it is happiness, sadness, wealth - it is all in this cosmic ocean. When we are with someone like a Maha Avatar, his understanding and realization far goes beyond anything that a mortal can understand. The practice of kriya yoga and his divine touch can initiate an opening up and understanding of the divine mystery. In the mystery I was led to him. In the mystery, he has initiated me to teach, and as he says "light the lights. Be a gardener."

In these times people's understanding of God and love of God has waned and we are now loving the graven image, the plastic surgeon, money, power and the ways of the world. In these ways we have unleashed ultimate selfishness and in this we have unleashed Satan. Babaji said that Jesus bound the devil up in shackles until the year 2000 but now he has come again.

Jesus will return to help us. In Babaji's words when I visited him in October 2002, he said, "There are two sides of God.

The devil is negation of God and image is part of the devil (Thou shalt not bow to any graven image). The other side is the illuminating part of God. When you are very spiritual you don't have an ordinary body, the light waves pass through your body." With the kriya yoga, we strengthen the light and bring into balance the two sides of God. So we live in the world, but we are not of it.

The kriya practice builds up your light body, which is the likeness of God. With the kriya yoga practice we calm the excitements in the body and identify with the light rather than the dark side of our personality. The kriya yoga practice pulls us to our consciousness in the light body instead of the dark side personality, thus breaking the satanic grip. The more we identify with the light body and less with the physical we realize that we never die. We live in conscious awareness of the light body and deathlessness and we can move in the inner planes, identifying with that. Therefore, gradually, gradually with this practice, the grip of maya and the delusion evaporates and we become immortal. The light body resides above our head in the Christ and God consciousness, so that our reality goes into the inner planes, and the unreality is our physical body here, which is truly the garment of our soul - our physical body and we can fight the good fight. Babaji said that the light above the head is self realization and it will get stronger and stronger with the practice of kriya yoga.

Kriya yoga is a science using breaths to oxygenate the body, setting it up for meditation. When you meditate and lock your eyes, ears and mouth, you enter samadi and you hear the voice of God and have God consciousness and self realization. It is here that you get the teaching on the inner planes.

Babaji has asked that I act as his disciple now and bring these teachings to the west and teach how to use these breaths to achieve this state of consciousness. This is my mission.

The technique is not difficult to learn. The practice can be done sitting cross legged on the floor or on a straight back chair. The emphasis is on keeping the spine straight. I will teach you the breaths that will set your body up for the meditation. It is a practice which once taught, you can practice in your own space, in your own time, as often as you can.

I am teaching here in my homeland in mystical Cornwall where I have a sacred room, but I also have groups in America and other areas of Devon and Cornwall.

If you would like to come and learn kriya yoga with me or would like to learn more about what I do, please feel free to contact me.
