A personal message from one of the team
Hi, my name is Roop and I have been working with Paramahansa Aliyananda and Swami Chitananda on the March Kriya Yoga workshop (now sold out).
I see it as an inaugural event for the World Peace Mission and a celebration for 2012.
In order to help bring Kriya Yoga to all, irrespective of background, wealth or culture; Swami Chitananda has set up the Inner peace Foundation charity, which supports the World Peace Mission in its goals.
The charity made this event possible and allowed us to offer places at a special rate.
We do need your help to continue this work in the future. For example it can be financial contributions, offering a suitable venue (100+ people) cheaply, fund-raising for the charity or volunteering to help at events.
I ask this in the spirit of divine love, so we share and support each other selflessly and unconditionally. ‘Love thy neighbour’ as Paramahansa Aliyananda often says to me.
Imagine bringing the gift of inner awakening to a complete stranger. Imagine the love that it takes to do that, and imagine the kind of person who wants to do it!
If you would like to help in any way, please get in touch.
In the Indian style, I offer my love and respects to you with palms joined and head bowed.

My New Year’s Day
At 7:20am, on New Year’s Day, I was standing on a beach at Marazion, Cornwall.
My friend, Lindsey Price, who also teaches Kriya Yoga, was inspired to conduct a ritual for world peace and had invited a small group of nine people to participate.
For the ceremony, we each brought a symbol of peace that meant something to us, like a flower or a cross.
The ceremony was beautiful and peaceful. At the end, we each threw our offerings into the sea.
Although we had thrown our offerings in different directions and with differing strengths, we were amazed to see the tide bring all the offerings together arranged in a single line!
We all felt the sacredness of the moment; a time to leave the past behind and make the effort to embrace the peace within.
I wish you all a very happy New Year, with all love, peace and blessings for 2012.
